Photo Contest: Good Performance documentation is an art form.

This week until Friday May 6, 2011 we are running a contest for the network member with the most facebook likes on an image. The member with the photo that has the most likes by Friday 6, 2011 wins:
* a free Contemporary Performance Tote Bag
* the image will be used as the new header on the home page for a week
* the image will be used as the header on the weekly email “week in review”!

Here is how to play.
1. Upload or choose one of your photos on your profile on http://www.contemporaryperformance.org (pick a good one!) and either add “photocontest01” to the tags in your photo or email [email protected] (or message Caden Manson on the network) the URL of the image. We’ll feature that image and also know where to look when we tally the votes.
2. Invite your Facebook friends to view it and then click on the facebook like button below the image.
3. The contest starts now and will end at Midnight EST on Friday May 6, 2011
4. The Network Member with the most Facebook likes by Friday May 6, 2011 at Midnight EST Wins!

Caden Manson is a director, media artist, and teacher. He is co-founder of the media ensemble bigartgroup.com and network, blog, and publisher, contemporaryperformance.com. He has co-created, directed, video- and set designed 18 Big Art Group productions. Manson has shown video installations in Austria, Germany, NYC, and Portland; performed PAIN KILLER in Berlin, Singapore and Vietnam; Taught in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Montreal, NYC, and Bern; the ensemble has been co-produced by the Vienna Festival, Festival d’Automne a Paris, Hebbel Am Ufer, Rome’s La Vie de Festival, PS122, and Wexner Center for The Arts. Caden is a 2001 Foundation For Contemporary Art Fellow, is a 2002 Pew Fellow and a 2011 MacDowell Fellow. Writing has been published in PAJ, Theater Magazine, and Theater der Zeit. Caden is currently an associate professor and graduate directing option coordinator of The John Wells Directing Program at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama.
