Opportunities: Open Call for POOL 14 – International TanzFilmPlattform (Berlin)

The OPEN CALL of POOL 14 – INTERNATIONALE TanzFilmPlattform BERLIN is out and submissions are possible until 4th july! Send us your dancefilm for POOL’s 8th edition.

Deadline for application: 4 July 2014

Where: DOCK 11, Berlin, Germany

When: 11-14 september 2014

POOL is a recurring format for danceshortfilms and danceanimations and offers space for a mutual exchange of experiences, development, training and presentations prospects.
It is a platform for films, which picture dance not as a simple documentation, but more as a creative piece of art, using cuts and several other techniques for creation.
We are also interested in films which include every kind of non-dance movement in choreography.
Moreover the budget of the films or the background of its creator are less important for us.

Competition / PEARLS

The POOL 14 jury will create a film program and select the winner films, the PEARLS 14.
PEARLS are the equal winners of POOL – INTERNATIONALE TanzFilmPlattform BERLIN.

Participation

All dancers, choreographers, filmmakers, artists and all interested people are invited to apply with dance short films.
Films should not be longer than 30 minutes and also not only a documentation of a dance piece.
