Member Spotlight: Genevieve Belleveau aka gorgeousTaps (Brooklyn, NYC)

Genevieve Belleveau (b. Bemidji, MN USA ) currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She studied visual art, voice and theatre at Bennington College. She explores self disclosure, community and desire through live performance, video, intervention, installation, original music and networked media. The heart of her work draws from obsessive research into performance sociology, experimental psychology and pop culture memetics. She aims to generate dialogue and discourse between networks of people that may have previously seemed incompatible. She invests in personal evolution through unflagging self disclosure and unflinching vulnerability, pushing the limits of her body and social boundaries.
