Network Update

Contemporary Performance Update – July 10, 2012

Welcome to this weeks Network Round Up. We’ve gathered the top most viewed, liked, and commented on members, content, photos, and videos. Warning: Some of these are NSFW. Contemporary Performance Network is a social media / community organizing network providing artists, presenters, scholars and festivals a platform to meet, share work, and collaborate. Invite your collaborators to share their work with 3625 global members.

As we enter our 3rd year of the network (our two year anniversary is July 25th), we are looking to expand our coverage on our blog and make it a truely crowd/cloud sourced extention of the network. We would like to add regional editors to cover the performances and opportunities around the globe. Benifits of becoming a region editor are: a listing in our masthead page with a link to your URL, your network profile image will feature a small logo in the upper right hand corner to denote you as a Regional Editor, you will recieve a CP Network Tote, and join a truely unique group of culture scouts. Your duties as a regional editor will be to post two posts a month of your choosing (Feature, Opportunities, In Performance, etc.). These can be reblogs (copy and paste with a source link) or you can write them yourself. If you are interested in becoming a Contemporary Performance Network Region Editor please click here to fill out our interest form –>.

**Artist Spotlight: The winner of last Artist Spotlight is c.ia Danza Flux (Napoli, Italy). Every two weeks you can vote for one of the top ten most active members. Winners will receive a CPNetwork Tote and a front page interview on the network and on our Facebook page with 8265 members. Vote now. Polls close on Friday July 27, 2012 midnight EST. Cheers,
