♦ MPA-B PROGRAMME: May 6th ♦

It’s Monday and this is today’s programme.

Starting from May 6th to May 11th, Nathalie Fari, MPA-B Associate Curator and brainchild of atelier obra viva, begins her 6 day-long BODY MAPPING WORKSHOP at GlogauAir. Body Mapping is a concept in which one’s own body serves as the artistic medium for creating site-related actions and dramatic compositions. The aim of the workshop is to investigate the state of tension between body and space and in doing so to examine our roles and particular behaviours as a performer (or social creature). The workshop will conclude with a presentation in a public space on the last day.

Tonight sees also the beginning of MPA-B Associate Curators and co-founders Jörn J. Burmester and Florian Feigl’s PERFORMER STAMMTISCH Monday series. Performer Stammtisch has been around for over 10 years, being the first Live Art network to be established in Berlin and to provide cutting edge reflections and discussions on performance art. Tonight make your way to NeuHoch to see two performances with Nadège Grebmeier and Frank Homeyer, starting at 19:00 (3€ entrance).
