After taking to the streets of Berlin on Tuesday with a roller coaster of street interventions, the 12 artists from Lala Nomada’s curated project LATITUD 32ºN/55ºS will today take over the monumental Kunsthaus Meinblau (located at Pfeffenberg – nearest U-Bhan Senefelderplatz) from 18:00-22:00 (free entrance), in a unique showcase of Latin America’s best contemporary and independent performance art scene.

Today also marks the beginning of MPA-B Associate Curators Stefania Angelini & Judith Lavagna’s project DISPLAYING THE INSTANT at L’Atelier Kunst(spiel)raum. Between May 8th and May 29th, L’Atelier will become the testing ground for time-based projects investigating performance art in relation to its production of presence. The title refers to the question of how performative action can be exhibited, in consideration of the display of its documentation, protocols, fragments, relics and artworks. Tonight Pauline Payen, Saturn Dogs (Manon Parent & Sto Len) will kick off the performance programme at 19:00-22:00 (entrance donations). A permanent exhibition running Thu-Sat will also be on displaying at the gallery space.
