From 12:00 at the MPA-HUB Greg McLaren will present a durational piece on Flag desecration. The act of burning, tearing, stamping on – is a big deal for some and a redundant act for others.

From 15:00-15:30 we present a river walk with River Lin part of the HUB STUDIO SESSIONS. Exploring how to walk as a river, and how to move on from a position to another in a open space? When being Slow as a method to walk, move and even dance, awakening the consciousness of body related to the presence, something ritualistic might happen at some unknown moment. Now that, let a figure of body become a river in the air.

From 17:00, WORKS ON PAPER II: PANDAMONIUM will continue at MOMENTUM. Works on Paper inverts classic assumptions of paper as a medium, inviting performance artists to approach paper not as a static blank canvas, but as a dynamic source of conceptual and performative possibility. With Thomas Eller.

From 17:00-18:00 the MPA-HUB will host Steve Slater and his performance BLACK HOLE. I want to build a black hole. A depression. A compression. A decompression. A space where things are lost, changed, altered, smashed and made anew…

From 18:30-19:30 at the MPA-HUB we present Ernst Fischer and Thomas John Baconwith PASSION/FLOWER. Two bodies; together yet yet apart, sit alone. They are engaged in an act of ritual self-flagellation, occasionally peaking but never climatically so.

Following today’s performances at the MPA-HUB, Greg McLaren, Steve Slater, Ernst Fischer and Thomas John Bacon will be part of an AUDIENCE TALK, discusses the days performances, moderated by Leen Horsford.
