ArsBioarctica residency

After finishing my twelve-year project of performing landscape according to the Chinese Calendar, and showing the last part, Year of the Snake – Swinging, at Muu gallery in Helsinki in May 2014, I am spending time at the ArsBioarctica Residency http://www.kilpiscope.net/residency at Kilpisjärvi in the “thumb” of Finland, high up in the far North. Although my work is not bio art, strictly speaking, I have enjoyed exploring new (and old) ways of performing landscape there, and also made some notes on their blog.
