Opportunities: Open Call Tempting Failure (UK)

Opportunities: Open Call Tempting Failure (UK)

Deadline  Midnight 22nd June 2014

Tempting Failure is a platform for Live Art, Noise Art and Performance Art, it was created to raise the profile of artists who choose to actively engage with risk within their practice, find it hard to be programmed in a supportive manner, or as established artists would like to challenge preconceived notions of their artwork or any given enquiry. Tempting Failure’s ethos elevates, promotes and celebrates their work; fostering artistic networks through a legacy of support, collaboration, open discussion and education.

Tempting Failure is keen to hear from any artist who actively engages with risk.  We particularly wish to engage with proposals from Noise Artists, Body Artists, One-on-One makers, Installation or Transient pieces, Performance Artists (large or small scale) and any Transgressive Artists whose work challenges boundaries or preconceptions of practice.

This year Tempting Failure is able to offer each artist or company who is curated into the 2014 programme an inclusive fee, an ‘in-kind’ package, documentation, and symposium & networking opportunities.
