Teatri Riflessi. International Festival of Short Plays is a festival centred on a competition of short plays, without distinction of genres: theatre, dance, performance, music, circus, installations. The festival promotes dramaturgies in dialogue with the landscape, the needs and dreams of the territories and communities. Moreover, the competition aims at inspiring the expression of contemporary art languages, hinging on the form of short plays—playlets and short pieces—encouraging interactions and comparisons between different performing arts and participants, geographically, culturally, and artistically diverse.

The event takes place at the public park in Zafferana Etnea, Catania, Italy, from 14 to 16 July 2022. The artistic committee of the festival will select from 10 to 16 short plays, lasting less than 20 minutes. The selected participants will perform as semifinalists on Thursday, 14, and Friday, 15 July. The announced finalists will then perform again on Saturday, 16 July. The deadline for submissions is on 25 March 2022.
