BOB JUDE FERRANTE is a playwright/producer. Most recently, Bob’s play A NEW THEORY OF VISION was critically acclaimed by BackStage, who named it a ‘pick,’ and by the Village Voice, who called it ‘Stoppardian.’ Previously, Bob completed THE NEW LIFE as a commission for Praxis Theatre Project NY. TWINGES played NYC to critical kudos from BackStage & OOBR and was a Finalist for Actor’s Theatre of Louisville’s Heideman award. Tragedy, a Comedy recently played at Show World. subCity premiered as part of NY Play Development’s 4Play 2000 Festival. Hemlock, a Greek Diner Tragedy premiered Dallas Texas to critical raves from the Dallas Observer. Regularly anthologized in Smith and Kraus’ Best Stage Scenes and Best Monologues series. Short plays Men’s and Scene Analysis for Fun & Profit been much produced in theatre festivals in NYC, Boston, Nyack NY, Ann Arbor MI, New Jersey, & Ontario Canada. Member of the Dramatists Guild, Inc.
