A second generation queer settler born in Toronto/Tkaronto, Dish with One Spoon Territory, lo is an interdisciplinary artist using language, movement and the energy between things. lo is Part-time Faculty at Sheridan College in Performance Based Art and an Artist in Residence at the Laboratory for Artistic Intelligence. lo received a Kathy Acker Award in 2019, the FADO Live Art Award at Summerworks 2015 and during the pandemic she presented video work at Luminato Festival Online 2020 and facilitated online ensemble practices for visual artists through School of the Alternative NC and at LeParc, the Performing Arts Research Cluster at Concordia University. IRL she has presented performance actions at conferences including: School of Making Thinking (Montreal), Hemispheric Institute’s Encuentro (Mexico), Performance Philosophy(Amsterdam), Northwestern University (Chicago), Canadian Association of Theatre Research-CATR (Kingston), Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of America-LMDA (Toronto), Dalhousie University (Halifax), and Sick Theories at University of Toronto (Toronto).
