This afternoon from 16:00 to 16:45 you can catch Magno Geraldo Ribeiro de Assis at the worldclock at Alexanderplatz performing REIVAX X: A DAILY COMEDY OF LOVE CHANGES, a site-specific intervention which will see Reivax X (Magno) carrying his own home inside a suitcase, which he will gradually assemble on the street, with a series of performative actions.

At 19:00, Weissensee Kunsthochschule Berlin opens and exhibition (running until May 31) which explores the question of what other kind of media, beside photography and video, are appropriate to document/translate their live art actions into an exhibition piece readable to someone who has not seen the actual performance.

Starting from 20:00, Laura McLardy, Susan Ploetz and Joachim Hamou will bring you MOONLIGHT LOUNGE AT KULE Theater, a series of performative works, through which, oscillating between stages of exclusion and inclusion through sound, movement and film they will interpret the potentiality of performance embedded in the encounters with the public.

Pepe returns with HOT ACTS (URBAN RITUALS), a series of ‘cooked situations’ that generate warmth inside different houses in the city. Caden Manson is a director, media artist, and teacher. He is co-founder of the media ensemble bigartgroup.com and network, blog, and publisher, contemporaryperformance.com. He has co-created, directed, video- and set designed 18 Big Art Group productions. Manson has shown video installations in Austria, Germany, NYC, and Portland; performed PAIN KILLER in Berlin, Singapore and Vietnam; Taught in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Montreal, NYC, and Bern; the ensemble has been co-produced by the Vienna Festival, Festival d’Automne a Paris, Hebbel Am Ufer, Rome’s La Vie de Festival, PS122, and Wexner Center for The Arts. Caden is a 2001 Foundation For Contemporary Art Fellow, is a 2002 Pew Fellow and a 2011 MacDowell Fellow. Writing has been published in PAJ, Theater Magazine, and Theater der Zeit. Caden is currently an associate professor and graduate directing option coordinator of The John Wells Directing Program at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama.
