◊ MPA-B 2014 | MAY 11 ROUND-UP ◊

FULL PROGRAMME : www.mpa-b.org/11-may-2014.html

Here is what Sunday with MPA-B looks like »»

At 16:00 -17:30 we have ‘CRISIS. FlUID IDENTITIES’ at the HUB. A performance and discussion with artists Demosthenes Agrafiotis and Michail Palaiologou, curated by Mi You. The performance will infuse a soundscape of musical threads only created when the performer interacts with a member of the audience, in the beginning each thread will exist as an autonomous unit and gradually the threads will start interacting with each.

AT 17:00 WORKS ON PAPER II: PANDAMONIUM will continue its SUNDAY series at the different location MOMENTUM and is curated by Rachel Rits-Volloch. The series inverts classic assumptions of paper as a medium, inviting performance artists to approach paper not as a static blank canvas, but as a dynamic source of conceptual and performative possibility. Today work from Isaac Chong Wai and Qui Anxiong.

TONIGHT STARTING AT 18:00 at the HUB we have ENABLED MANIFESTO PROJECT, a performance workshop and international platform project dedicated to disabled artists/researchers and able bodied peers committed to integration and to raising awareness. The outcome will be a performed manifesto that will address the participants concerns, needs and desires in relation to disability and performance art. +++ NOTE THE LOCATION HAS BEEN MOVED FROM SAVVY CONTEMPORARY TO THE HUB+++++
