Antony Hamilton is an Australian choreographer. His multi-award winning performances involve a sophisticated melding of movement, sound and visual design. He collaborated with Chunky Move on many occasions, performing in many productions by Gideon Obarzanek and creating two works commissioned as part of the Next Move program, Keep Everything (2012) and I like This co‐directed by Byron Perry (2008).

Throughout his career, Antony has collaborated with a variety of other artists from various creative fields. As a dancer, he has worked extensively throughout Australia and overseas, predominantly with Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc and Australian Dance Theatre. As choreographer, he has worked both in Australia and abroad creating works for The Lyon Opera Ballet, Chunky Move, Australian Dance Theatre, Dancenorth, LINK, The Victorian College of the Arts, Stompin, Rogue and The New Zealand School of Dance. He has also created short works for ADT’s Ignition seasons and Lucy Guerin Inc’s Pieces for Small Spaces seasons. Antony’s major independent works include Blazeblue Oneline (2008), Drift (2010), Black Project 1 (2012), and Black Project 2 (2013). His major commissions include Keep Everything (Chunky Move 2012), I Like This co directed by Byron Perry (Chunky Move 2008), RGB (Australian Dance Theatre 2010), and Black Project 3 (Lyon Opera Ballet, 2010).

Antony was inaugural recipient of the Russell Page Fellowship in 2004, the Tanja Liedtke Fellowship in 2009 and an Australia Council for the Arts Creative Australia Fellowship in 2012.
