Between the Seas Festival of Mediterranean Performing Arts (New York City, August 20-26th 2012)
We are pleased to announce that we are currently accepting submissions from performing artists from the Mediterranean and Mediterranean Diaspora as well as all artists whose work focuses in the region to be presented in Between the Seas Festival’s second edition (August 20-26th 2012) in New York City. The festival which had its inaugural edition in August 2011, aims at promoting contemporary Mediterranean culture and encouraging exchange between US based and Med-based performing artists. In our first edition we presented no less than 14 artists, 2 NYC and 2 US premieres and works representing Morocco, Algeria/France, Egypt, Israel, Spain, Italy, USA, Canada, Greece.
