◊ MPA-B 2014 | MAY 9 ROUND-UP ◊

FULL PROGRAMME : www.mpa-b.org/9-may-2014.html

THE ONLY WAY TO WELCOME THE WEEKEND >>> FOOD AND SURPRISES.

Join us today not at the MPA-HUB but at the incredible Grüntaler9 space to celebrate their 3RD ANNIVERSARY with an all day event. Jam packed with invited artists of the past, present and potential future, champion colleagues, collective collaborators, hungry HUBbers, lunatic co-labourers, native neighbours, and splendid supporters ready to celebrate Grüntaler9’s 3rd Birthday. Come on down and get stuck in with the antics of the space and its inhabitants.

The space since May 2011 has been dedicated to live performances, performative installations and time-based art. Not interested in the label of being a Gallery, a white cube or a black box, Grüntaler9 insists on leaving the trails of visible and invisible remains of performances of the past ready for the next performance to take over, inhabit and let go again. We kick off at 12noon and go on till the last woman/man is standing. Entrance is free.

OFF PROGRAMME also tonight at the Culture Container (near the MPA-HUB/DingDongDom) there will be a mish-mash of music, DJs and, weather-permitting, a jam session by the campfire. Head there if you want to party until the wee hours of the morning! Programme: 20:00 jam session / 21:00 jack o’matto live sound / 22:00 Irish music live quartet / from 23:30 DJ set electro cumbia (3€ or free with trash carnival costume)
