After the beautiful kick off by Mona Motel on Friday 16th, the HUB STUDIO SESSIONS we will continue today with a public reading by Mari Novotny-jones and JoȅlVerwimp (13:00) They will read from the travel diary written by Esther Neff during her tour with PPL throughout the US last winter.

(***PLEASE NOTE HUB STUDIO SESSIONS IS A NEW ADDITION TO THE PROGRAMME***)

FROM 17:00 HUB STUDIO SESSIONS will end with delightful Musical Sewing: a pop up upcycling studio by Lisa Simpson.

FROM 19:30-22:30 PERFORMER STAMMTISCH will proudly introduce artist Fausto Gracia to the programme. This will be his first performance he presents in Berlin, an action-installation titled „Dislocation“. After the performance Jörn J. Burmester and Florian Feigl will continue their ongoing exploration of collaboration and non-hierarchical learning in performance art. In part of their new performance they will collaborate with British performance artist Katy Baird via Skype, integrating her piece that they bought at Auction Achtung!

Caden Manson is a director, media artist, and teacher. He is co-founder of the media ensemble bigartgroup.com and network, blog, and publisher, contemporaryperformance.com. He has co-created, directed, video- and set designed 18 Big Art Group productions. Manson has shown video installations in Austria, Germany, NYC, and Portland; performed PAIN KILLER in Berlin, Singapore and Vietnam; Taught in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Montreal, NYC, and Bern; the ensemble has been co-produced by the Vienna Festival, Festival d’Automne a Paris, Hebbel Am Ufer, Rome’s La Vie de Festival, PS122, and Wexner Center for The Arts. Caden is a 2001 Foundation For Contemporary Art Fellow, is a 2002 Pew Fellow and a 2011 MacDowell Fellow. Writing has been published in PAJ, Theater Magazine, and Theater der Zeit. Caden is currently an associate professor and graduate directing option coordinator of The John Wells Directing Program at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama.
