Spontaneous Combustion is a yearly festival of dance and performance happening in various outdoor and indoor locations in Hackney Wick and Bethnal Green. We invite artists working across dance, live art and contemporary theatre to submit proposals of new or recent performance work to be presented at the festival.
On its 4th year, Spontaneous Combustion offers emerging artists an opportunity for exposure and networking and more experienced artists a creative opportunity to locate their work in unusual spaces.
The festival is supported by arebyte, a nonprofit organisation based in Hackney Wick producing cross-disciplinary projects in Performance and New Media art.
