Re-Fest 2022
Deadline: Once they receive 100 submissions or on February 21, 2022
Submit: Online
CultureHub seeks artists to submit a 1 minute video to be exhibited at Re-Fest that explores the theme of Re-Unification. As we continue to fight the global pandemic and our ability to come together physically is limited, how can we imagine the world we want to create? What new rituals and modes of togetherness can be forged whether we are in a physical space together or not? All forms of visual expression are welcome.
The submissions will be installed in a virtual 3D gallery environment built by DigiAna Group that will be open to the public for the duration of Re–Fest March 14–25, 2022. Submissions will close on February 21st.
The theme for Re–Fest 2022 is Re-Unification, which asks: how should we come back together to imagine the world we want to create after periods of social isolation, political unrest, and devastating loss?
CultureHub’s annual festival activates our community through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and conversations presented in a custom-built virtual space. Re–Fest 2022 will kick off on Monday, March 14 with a virtual gallery opening event followed by daily workshops and conversations and live performances on Friday, March 18 and March 25.
