Envoy Enterprise
87 Rivington Street
New York, NY 10002
November 14 – 17, 2013

NEXT TIME is a time-based curatorial project founded in November 2011 focused on developing and archiving community discourse. Envoy Enterprises hosts the third installment in the series at their gallery location at 87 Rivington from November 14th – 17th, 2013.

NEXT TIME SYMPOSIUM is a four day happening comprised of conferences, lectures, performances, screenings and workshops, culminating in a publication release. As documentation is a focal interest of the NEXT TIME series, the live conversations will be archived and audio & visual transcripts made freely available.

NEXT TIME SYMPOSIUM delves into a dynamic landscape of questions surrounding contemporary image making, identity formation and arts practices. This series of casual conferences will offer a salon-style format to build discussion about the current state of the drag arts, gender performance, gender politics, and feminist politics. Envoy Enterprises basement space will be transformed into an environment of pillows and mood lighting, offering a casual-critical space for social commerce.

We invite you to participate as a person of social vitality. NEXT TIME SYMPOSIUM encourages and develop our focus on building conversation-based discourse and increase mindfulness to our social, digital, and biological surroundings.
