MACUNAÍMA, brasilian literature character, has been crossing my activities in theater, performance and poetry since 2012. Through the following links and embedded videos, I decided to show the main results of crossing this persona (this crossing persona, anti-hero, without character, with crossing characters), and will add some quick introductory remarks about each process.

2012 – TRAUMA CHA CHA CHA – The embodiment of Macunaíma crossing during one year and several results of an work in process about the aspects in the ritual of author and direct theater

2013 – ÁRVORE-TIPO (TREE TYPE or ARBOL TYPE) – The director back to birth place: Macunaíma loses his amulet, and his name, and his double, and he turns into his own hermetic practices towards his land to re-engage with the search of his amulet. ‘Less love, more care’.

2014 – MEMÓRIAS PÓSTUMAS DE MACUNAÍMA – Macunaíma´s from Mario de Andrade danced as if a star told the story of an anti-hero (Dealing with disidentification towards the roots, the first actions of this study is to dance free butoh in different places of the city of my birth, and to reflect about the idiosyncrasies of this situations in relation with the performance)
