Description Of Opportunity:

PROPOSE ASAP for Across Oceans CM FELLOWSHIPS

For movement artists working in All forms of movement arts – established and new generation – to examine of their creative processes and the principles at the foundation of their artistry in an intentional community of supportive and challenging peers and senior mentors.

The Choreographic Marathon work is centred on the Oct 16, 17 intensive and continues over 4 months. Artists (individuals and/or ensembles) begin by bringing material that is a creation in progress or an idea to develop or further investigate. The weekend is to identify principles underlying the individual works. The subsequent work is to develop personal creative processes. Across Oceans Arts has been facilitating platforms for deep investigation of expression through arts for over 30 years.

The Choreographic Marathon, led by senior mentor Maxine Heppner and honoured dance artists across forms, is dedicated to new creation growing from intuitive, learned and inherited experience.

All languages welcome. The CM currently functions in English, French, also Japanese, Farsi, Arabic, Greek, Spanish, Indonesian, ASL and others tbd.
