The Boundary of Life is Quietly Crossed, an artist talk and performance by Dario Robleto, will be presented at Dudley Recital Hall, Fine Art Building, University of Houston on October 25 at 6pm. There will be a reception starting at 5pm. Admission is free.

Robleto will be exploring the connection between creativity and loss through images and sound. In particular, he will discuss the Golden Record, a documentation of humanity’s story which was launched into space on the Voyager Space Probe in the 1970’s.

Internationally unknown artist and post-Campbellite Emily Sloan is the founding reverend of the controversial Southern Naptist Convention and chief caretaker and curator of The Kenmore exhibition object. Sloan is based out of Houston, Texas where her practice includes education, performance, public art projects and object making.
